        It is almost impossible for us to put a number on it. Generally, our customers get 1 to 2 days' usage from a tow tug.
        This gives us a sense of what the customer is moving and the area to be moved around. It lets us see what things you may need to consider when specifying an appropriate configuration to do the job at hand. Also, our customers would be able to try out the machine with their equipment to get a feel for how positively it could impact their working life and manual handling. Again, we would not want to sell a unit to a customer without knowing if it would work.
        We try to get as much information from our customers as possible in regards to what they are moving and the area they will be towing the item(s) around to pinpoint the best V-Move tug for the job. There are many things that can affect the use of a tow tug and the towing capabilities, finding out this information can then actually direct us to a different machine than the customer was initially looking. The last thing we would want to do is sell a unit to a customer which may not work for what they need.
        We do not advertise the prices as each unit is built up for the specific needs of our customer, sometimes turning the machines into bespoke electric tow tugs. There are so many elements which can be changed, this can cause confusion if a customer tried to build up their own machine, so we try to make this as easy as possible by doing this for them.

        You can hire out tow tugs to see if they are the right fit for you and your business. Typical hire periods are a month however we can be flexible to your requirements.

        Verhagen Leiden offers a 12-month manufacturer warranty on their products. Industar offers an extension to this warranty if customers opt for it. Extended warranties can cover up to an additional 2 years, making the full possible warranty period 3 years.  
        If you are continually pulling a weight that is close to the tug’s limit, there is a chance that you could then burn out the motor with the constant pressure of the tug being used at full force. For example, if the weight you are moving 1,950kg, would not recommend the V-Move L (2,000kg), would move this to the next tow tug up (the V-Move XL – 3,500kg).
        The main purpose of the counterweights is to aid the traction of the unit. When comparing our electric tow tugs to a lot of the items and weights they can move, they are rather small and sometimes need the help of a little extra weight on top of the unit.
        If you’re hitching your item up at the back of the unit, none of the weight is directly on top of the tow tug. This can sometimes cause the machine to tip. To combat this, we do sell stabiliser wheels that can be fitted to the back of most of the V-Move range.
        Our most popular machine is the V-Move XL & the V-Move XL-HD. Both are essentially the same machine; however, the HD model has an upgraded motor which increases the towing capacity from 3,500kg to 5,000kg. This unit is very popular for moving caravans and trailers, as well as a wide range of other items. This unit comes as standard with air tyres and interchangeable tow ball and pin couplings, making the unit great value for money.
        We currently offer a variety of methods for purchasing a unit. Please see below:
        • Full payment on order
        • 25% deposit on order with the remaining 75% balance to paid prior to delivery
        • Finance through Boss Asset Finance (we will pass on their details to you should you wish to go through them)
        • We also offer a contract hire service.

        We never like to hear that a unit has broken down, however, if this should be the case, we are always here to help as these things happen on occasion. If you are ever having any issues with your V-Move, please either call or email us. If there is physical damage, please take some pictures and send those to us as well, giving us the full details of what has occurred or you believe to be wrong with the machine. This can help us to determine what is wrong with the unit and ensures we can provide the course of action. Every machine in the V-Move range is made so as not to be part of the ‘throwaway culture’ we seem to have found ourselves in. If something within the machine breaks down, it can be replaced. There would be no need to dispose of the unit and purchase a new machine.
