Moving heavy bins to the kerb-side
Essential Living is a property developer and building management company with several multi-dwelling residences situated in the heart of the UK’s capital, London.
Each of the company’s four developments includes anywhere from 50 to 150 flats spread over several floors. This many people living in one shared space can generate several tonnes of waste every week, causing the shared wheelie bins at the foot of the buildings to become extremely heavy! Moving one is challenging enough, and moving several at once is impossible – not without the risk of an injury.
The property manager at their residences in Greenwich needed a simple solution to help their domestic teams to tow bins to the kerb-side quickly and safely on waste collection day.
Ideally, they wanted a solution that could pull multiple bins together – of which they had three to move – to help save precious time in their day and prevent accidents to the staff.
