Media producers require lots of power for their mobile filming equipment. Yet, in an age where energy costs are constantly rising and companies more conscious about protecting our planet, most want a greener solution. Green Voltage power outlets provide the answer, but they are bulky and difficult to move. Even their wheeled units prove challenging for a person or several to transport easily from one place to the next without the risk of an injury.
Our client contacted us in desperate need of a towing device to help move trailers carrying their power units around a yard between the stores and delivery vehicles. The ground surface was mostly flat concrete but with some gravel in places, adding complexity when moving the trailers. They enquired about the V-Move XL-HD but were not convinced it would work for them, despite its heavy-duty motor. We agreed to a short-term loan, and if happy, the client would purchase it. Due to the popularity of this particular tow tug from Verhagen Leiden, we had plenty of stock available and could meet the client’s needs immediately.
Our team provided the V-Move XL-HD with air-filled tires to suit the uneven terrain, an interchangeable tow ball and pin for simple hook up, and double hitching points to suit both twin axle and single axle trailers. Capable of pulling weights up to 5000kg, this adaptable and versatile electric tow tug moved each heavy power unit easily, quickly proving why it’s a market leader for fast and efficient trailer towing.
After the trial, Green Voltage agreed with how well the tow tug worked for them and purchased the loan unit on the spot. They are pleased with the purchase, and we look forward to supporting their needs again.
