Ideal for use with large trailers, static caravans and helicopters, the 5,000kg towing capacity will allow you to use our V-Move XL-HD electric tug for many different applications.

A versatile & adaptable electric tow tug

The V-Move XL-HD electric tow tug uses the same chassis as the V-Move XL unit but has a heavy duty motor.

The unit provides a towing capacity of 5,000kg. This means the machine is very versatile and has many different uses.

As with the V-Move XL unit, the V-Move XL-HD comes with a trailer hitch complete with interchangeable tow ball and pin. Electric & hydraulic couplings can replace the standard trail hitch.

The V-Move XL-HD electric tug is available with different tyres, hitches, handlebars & counterweights.

Battery & charging

Our V-Move tug can operate on one charge for one to two full working days. This depends on usage and environment.

Enhanced batteries are available on request.

The battery charger is external and uses a standard UK 3-pin plug socket. The charger plugs in to the side of the V-Move XL-HD which means you don’t have to remove the batteries.

Charging takes between 5 to 8 hours for a full charge which is perfect for an overnight charge. The charger itself is a trickle charger, which means you do not have to worry about overcharging.
