This mid-sized electric tow tug has a towing capacity of 2,000kg and is easy to manoeuvre and use. The V-Move L can have many uses with a large range of optional extras and additional accessories.
A Mid-Sized Tow Tug
Our V-Move L electric tow tug is a mid-sized tug that has a towing capacity of 2,000kg. So, although it has an impressive towing capacity, the unit is compact, making it very easy to operate. It also has different configurations, meaning it has a variety of uses.
Hitches & Couplings
The V-Move L tow tug can have many uses with a large range of optional extras and accessories. The increased capacity over the V-Move M assures you can easily move larger loads. In addition, the range of towing hitches available for this tow tug means you can move bins, trollies and roll cages.
Previously, we have moved assembly bogies, medical trollies and swarf bins with our V-Move L tow tugs. As well as the standard pins and tow balls, we can fit the V-Move L with a trailer hitch, allowing you to move small trailers with your electric tow tug.
Operative Safety
Implementing V-Move L electric tow tugs on your site can reduce manual handling and employee fatigue while increasing efficiency and speed.
Our tow tugs have an automatic handbrake that engages when you release the throttle. This holds on inclines and ramps also so you can bring your load to a complete stop.
Bespoke Configurations
As well as hitch and coupling options, you can fit a V-Move L with different tyres, safety beacons and sirens. As well as the above options, we can fit the V-Move L tug with counterweights to aid traction and provide a fail-safe solution.
Other electric tow tugs on the market use hydraulic weight distribution; however, this is expensive and can go wrong. Using simple counterweights means there is less likelihood of issues occurring and less to repair/replace.
Battery & Charging
Our V-Move electric tugs can operate on one charge for between one and two full working days. Of course, this depends on usage and the environment. Enhanced batteries are available on request.
Our chargers are external and use a standard UK 3-pin plug socket. The charging box must be wall-mounted to help with air circulation. The charging cable plugs straight into the side of the tug without the need to remove batteries.
Charging takes between five to eight hours for a full charge, meaning it is ideally charged overnight. In addition, the charger has a trickle function, which means you do not have to worry about overcharging.
Configured To Your Needs
The V-Move L unit can have different tyres and couplings fitted. So, whatever the application, we should be able to configure a machine for you.
Motion Siren
A motion siren can warn others in the vicinity that an item is been moved. Applicable whether the unit is in forward or reverse.
Beacons & Lights
Flashing beacons and motion sirens are available to warn others in the vicinity items are moving. Beacons can be fitted to the mover or on a pole.
Solid Rubber Tyres
Ideal for indoor use in factories and warehouses. Puncture resistant with great traction.
Non-Marking Tyres
Working in a clean environment, solid rubber non-marking tyres are available in different sizes.
Air-Filled Tyres
Air-filled tyres are best suited for use on uneven ground. Both standard and large tyres are available.
A-Frames & Towing Eyes
If you already have pins fitted on your loads, a range of A-Frames are available for your mover providing easy and secure hitching.
Industrial Pin
Heavy duty pin with r-clip to securely move all manner of loads and trollies around. Ideal if your loads are fitted with a hitching eye.
Open Pin
If you are hitching a load on and off your mover frequently, you may want to consider this option for increased speed and efficiency.
Tow Ball
Tow balls are available for attachment to your mover, enabling use with standard trailer hitches fitted on your loads.
Custom Colours
As standard, our movers come in a bright red colour however if you have specific colours you want to use, we can offer this.
Bespoke Trailers/Trollies
If the wheels on your load are not quite up to the job, we can design bespoke trailers and trolleys to carry the load and hitch up to the mover.
