Breg Products is a leading manufacturer of bespoke trolleys, including turntable trucks, sack trucks, shelf trolleys and access platforms based in Huddersfield, West Yorkshire.

 

Breg Products’ customers come to them looking for a solution to move objects from A to B quickly and safely. Whether they’re moving one large item or multiple small ones – some heavy, others hazardous – the company prides itself on having a trolley or truck for every job. And those products they make en masse or as custom-build bespoke designs are precisely the types of wheeled objects our tugs love to pull!

 

We had spoken with their team previously when a customer of ours wanted to source a custom-built trolley to move large titanium pieces. Thankfully, this meant Breg Products was already aware of our services and, on realising they wanted their own tow tug to help them move materials around their new site, they knew who to ask.

 

We visited the site and completed a demo of the V-Move XL towing tug – a compact unit capable of pulling weights up to 3,500kg. While the intended loads would not be especially heavy, they were cumbersome; long sharp steel sheets that need optimum care during transport to avoid accidents. Even with an overhang of 1,500mm, the V-Move XL tow tug proved robust and stable enough to tow the sheets easily.

 

The team from Breg Products loved what they saw and immediately purchased a unit as a standard configuration with solid tires added. We suggested adding an A-frame to their trolley before attaching it to the tow tug coupling for extra stability – advice we understand the customer has since taken on board.

 

Now that Breg Products is aware of all our solutions and high-quality service, we hope this is the beginning of a long relationship and look forward to working with them again.
